Q & A

So I thought this would be kind of fun.. Or really lame if no one wants to participate.. If you don't we're going to lock this away and pretend like it never happened, deal? Good.

I get a lot good amount of little questions in my inbox-- sometimes they're totally random...

What husband and I do for our date nights-- :) When we get date nights, it's Carrabbas *Yum* and a movie.. Or Home Depot, not going to lie we love thinking about all the things we could do to improve our house. Sometimes we just eat cake.. :)

Questions about my family..

Why I let my kids dress how they'd like...

Or what color my hair is this week...

And, questions I forget to answer like where I bought something in my house. Duh.

So how about we have a big ol' question and answer day? Comment on this post any question, and I'll answer it.

Go ahead, make me blush! Ha.. But because it's family let's keep it PG-13, that's for you silly trolls out there! ;-P

I'll come back this week and answer them. Let's have some fun! Ready set go!

Ooo! Fun! Here is my question: How do you find the time to blog, coordinate linkups, and do projects?

As a stay at home mom myself, I know how difficult it can be :)

I'd like to know how you schedule your day , too. SAHM and blogger here, too. I have only 1 child but sometimes I have a hard time keeping up!

How do you keep all of the kid clutter (aka toys and craft stuff) organized? I have triplet 2-year olds and their 'stuff' is taking over the house!!

What made you decide to start a blog? :)

Hi there! My question is: I believe at one point you said that in your kitchen you used peel n stick tile. I recently used this in my Gmas Bathroom Remodel. The kind that you grout and seal. I was wondering how yours has held up?

Tell me more about date nights! I have been working on ideas. Need some. LOL I've found it really doesn't matter too much, as long as it is time together. Simple, fun works for me.
Ohhhhh and WHERE did you get the cake??? It is adorable.

I also want to know how you do it all and what inspires your crafting and decorating style. I just love it!

Amanda @ Serenity Now said...

What would you call your decorating "style" and where is your favorite place to shop for clothes for YOURSELF? ;)

You are very brave! Have fun...

Great idea:) I'm also interested in hearing how you juggle it all- mom, wife, blogger. What's a typical "day in the life?"

Love the idea! I have a couple questions:
-What annoys you sometimes in other blogs? (or said another way... what would you suggest new bloggers NOT do)
-What other advice would you give a new blogger?
-You've made a few comments about possibly having a third?!? Is this a true possibility in the future?

I would like to know when you're moving to CA. I would also like to know what you think your life would be like should you have never found my blog. ;)

For reals? Okay...hmm...
You say you never get to go to Ikea. What is something you REALLY want from Ikea that you can't go buy for yourself?

Did you find an awesome shag rug? Did I convince you?

If you could be anyone for a day, who?

Just thought I let you know..., I love your beachy mantel from earlier this year, and included the "starfish" in today's post. Thanks for an inspirational mantel!

Hi! Love this idea, especially since I'm new at blogging (started at the beginning of this summer). I'm an interior design major at Seattle Pacific University and thought a blog would be a fun creative outlet as well as an online journal for others to see what I'm learning and I've also thought it's a great way to legitimize a future business I may create, post graduating.
So...
What are some of the ways you grew your blog from 0-1000 (wow!) followers? Any advice you have for bloggers just starting out, trying to grow theirs?

Thanks! XO
Michaela

My questions are:
1. You are so stinkin' cute! Every picture you look adorable. Do you look like that all the time? or just when you take pictures? Where do you buy your cute clothes?

2. How in the world do you keep that white sofa white? I knew it's slipcovered, but my kids love red clay and Sharpies. How do you do it?

Kimmie's comment made me laugh. You have some good questions to answer. :) Thanks so much for linking up with me, girlie!!

LOL...how fun! I'm with some of the others...how do you schedule your blog time so that it doesn't interfere with your wife, family and home-keeping time?...not to mention the rest of your busy life! :-)

I'm visiting from Amanda's party tonight!

I follow your blog and read this post earlier this week and didn't have time to comment. I'm here again from Amanda's party.

I've been wondering how your house selling process is going. I hope very well!

Hi!
I've only just come across your blog from Amanda's party, so it's my first time stopping by. So my question ... did you make that cake in the first picture, JUST for the sake of eating a beautiful cake!? I'm impressed!!!!
