I hope 2011 is a fantastic year for blogging personally, but it wouldn't be much if I didn't have you fun people to read it eh? At least I think so. I like a little bit of everything. Tutorials are always great, but i love big transformations too (because in my current living situation I can't really do these myself) but I also like getting to know people by reading about their lives. Blogs are boring if the writer isn't "real"

But here is a question that I don't think you've covered: When you move (if you ever had, I'm a new follower so I haven't read every single one of your posts) how do you switch up your decor to look different in the new house? I'm tempted to just put everything where it basically is now. For example: the clock and two hanging pieces I have above my couch now would go about our couch at the next place...I don't want to have everything just the same in a different house...you know what I mean? I'm just not sure how to switch it up since our furniture will all be the same and color schemes will be too, but I'd like a "fresher" look to my decorations:) Help me, if you can!

1. I'm a Christian woman who loves Jesus. I just turned 40 in December. I live in San Diego and have been married for 15 years (well, it'll be 15 years in 3.5 weeks but I'm going with it...). We have two boys, ages 6 and 8.
2. Well, I'd like to say I read at least weekly. But, seeing as though you posted this on the first and I'm finally reading it on the 10th, that may be debatable. I read as often as I can ;)
3. I like the kind of posts that I can copy...and do it quickly. I love to see lots of major overhauls people have done but that doesn't really inspire me to just "do" something. I love quick and easy decor ideas, crafts and tutorials. But the other stuff is cool too.
4. Not that I can think of...but then again, I'm a fairly new reader of blogs in general - so I probably wouldn't know.
5. Oh goodness no. The idea of having to come up with something remarkable to post online gives me the heebie jeebies. That and having to photograph things. I'm not great with the camera. I mean, I know how to use it...but I just don't actually use it.
6. Well, of course I'm trying to get off the 3ish pounds I've gained over the holidays. And then there's the organizing that needs to happen. Of course, it will probably be well into the year before that's accomplished...but I'm okay with that. So really, I think my goal is to enjoy time with my family. My kids are growing fast and I don't want to miss it.:)
