I work at a breakfasty type of restaurant. You know kinda like a mom and pop place.. but anyways. This is our menu as stated....
1 country fresh egg, served with home fries, choice of ham, sausage or bacon, and choice of pancakes or toast with assorted jelly and butter.
Pretty self explanatory right? So I thought. Until someone drops the bomb, of all bomb requests.
"Can I skip the butter and jelly and get toast AND pancakes?"
No, no you may not.
Don't you realize that the jelly is ON the table and butter is on the bread? That .40 cents we pay for butter does not cover the cost of the side of two pancakes you'd like? But hey if you PROMISE you wont take any jelly from the caddy..... maybe.
One more just because it was a long day.
"I'll have 1egg over hard, with links, American fries crisp, and cakes"
...."and for you sir."
"I'll just have the same thing, except I want my egg scrambled, with ham and white toast.. skip the potatoes"
You are right, exactly the same.

Pumpkin carving time!
Peekaboo I see you little black cord to hook up my camera to my computer!
Look how amazingly cute LB1 is. Love her, want to squish her. You can semi still see her black eye. Poor babe. That wasn't from the squishing, promise.
I got these little delights at HL the other day and even though I loathe the yellow greenish one that doesn't even remotely look real (what was I thinking, seriously?) I think it turned out pretty good. Um, pretend like you don't see the green lighter next to my tea light burner. And, um you don't see the silver frame that fell behind hubs and I. Oh and, there might be too many leaves on my lanterns? I don't know- I freaking love fall, it's like it vomited all over my family room. (Living room/great room/front room- for you freaks out there.)
LB2 keeps getting into the toilet paper. Sigh. Do your kids do that? Does it really taste that good, because, well I haven't tried it. So, I don't know. But she seems to love it and now I have to go wraaastle her. I might have to toss it all and implement a drip dry rule around here. WHOA too far, sorry guys. I am. :)

Well shoot.
I gave my bff her present so unless she sends me a picture. I have nothing to add about that. :( I'm really sad about it because I feel it was lovely, but alas. I'm a disappointment tonight. I did however paint my front door black tonight. Luh-uh-ving it! So "rich" looking! I even spray painted my hardware a lovely matte silver. ie. Cheap nickle finish. Have you seen how much new hardware runs lately? Uh yeah! Freaking ridiculous. So, unless you want to send me 119.99 for the set I want, this will have to do.
Hubs and I did try to make a bench tonight for our mudroom/entryway/catch all. But, you know what. I wasn't feeling it, and trashed that idea. Now I have a bunch of plywood cut up, what should I make? I was really motivated for a bench. Darn it.
Well Pals one lovely loyal reader- I still see you!- it's time for the nighty nights with lovebug1 and lovebug2. Have a wonderful fall day tomorrow, unless your in Michigan and you get to feel the 80 degree burn! And then some snow.
Also, anyone out there who prays/can send good thoughts this way. Two of my good friends are going through a rough patch in both of their marriages. It's bad. Only the grace of God can fix wounds like these and that's what they need! <3 And, another just lost someone close to her in her family. Sad times for these women.

I.O.U
"We don't have any money with us today, so um, well this is an I.O.U okay? We'll leave a tip next time."*Of course you will, just like the time before, oh and before that, and that?* "Oh, that's fine. Gotta do what you gotta do"
Newsflash: I called my credit card company and they wont accept I.O.U's as a form of payment. Luckily, they do take those little bible pamphlets I keep getting instead of real MONEY. Sheesh, that was a close one!

Wedding gift, Mums and a black eye!
Well my bffandeverandever got married this last weekend, and silly me I forgot her present! However, pretty sure God meant for that to happen b/c I dreamed up something even BETTER for her. Ripped the first one apart and made this amazing scrapbook frame.
Bad news, I don't know where my darned camera is, its late too. But tomorrow, promise it'll be here! It's all "falled" up, because well her wedding was autumn themed and gorgeous! All us fab girls wore different autumn colors- we were like a bunch of leaves! LB1 was a flower girl and of course was the cutest little love bug EVAAR! She even waltzed, alone, during the ceremony when they were lighting the unity candle and another bridesmaid was signing. Priceless I tell you. If I had a video you know it'd be up by now.
Now, onto the mums part. Where in the heck can I get some galvanized buckets? Because well I saw a fabulously cleaver project to use them as planters and home depot (my second home, besides H.L of course) didn't have them. Argh. Hate that! But, I did get some maroon, orange, yellow and whiteish mums. So pretty. I'm over the whole bright pinks from summer.. But yeah, I've said that- sorry!
Now for the sad part. We went to dinner tonight at a friends, we got qdoba- which I usually love. But, they didn't ask if I wanted my chips on the side or in the bowl and I completely forgot until I left. Which resulted in soggy chips, and a angry momma! During the whole "why in the heck are my chips soggy, oh yeah they aren't on the side, duh" fiasco. LB1 screamed louder than gosh knows what. She got hit with a wooden block. Poor babe! She now has a huuuuugee black eye which keeps swelling even though she has ice on it. I hate when shes hurt and there's nothing I can do besides hold her. She kept telling me her face was blue, not black. "It's not a black eye mom! It's BLUE!"
LB2 (I hardly ever talk about her huh? whoops! Shes around too I swear!) Finally started to talk, she says momma, dada and li li. Too cute! Love her to bits, shes such a easypeasy baby!
Time to go watch some t.v... clean my house.

Aka. Son of a *naughty word your not supposed to say around these parts!*
How can I punish something so friggin' cute?

Little tid bits...
Many a moon ago I was trying to let you in on my-so-called life, a little bit. I left off by telling you about the birth of our beautiful, amazing, funny, ball of fire daughter, love bug. I'm going to finish now.
Four days in the hospital and some very painful stomach muscles, we were sent home. Which at the time was my moms house. This didn't last long. I got home to my entire family (When I say entire, I mean, the grams, gramps, cousins etc.) cleaning out my bedroom, throwing my stuff in garbage bags, boxes, backpacks. Basically whatever they could find was being tossed and thrown in the back of my dad's pick up. Dang it.
"Tough love" apparently.
Thankfully, my Dad, who was in the process of building his own house (with a fully furnished basement for me and Mr.p and LB) so we went there. Mind you, this was the beginning of July, in Michigan, it was HOT. And, like I said, he was in the process of building his house. It wasn't finished. The worst part, no cable, no phone, and ack, no A/C! Let me tell you, it's really a test of a new mother to whisk her off into a new environment with a brand new baby and not give the girl a talk show or two, a phone to call someone for help and no friggin AIR CONDITIONING, IN JULY. Sigh, it was horrible. Even more so when Mr.p had to go back to work the next day. Talk about baby blues, I had them. Bad.
Once the house was finished, and things were a little more settled, it got better. Momma got a job (yuck). Played housewife, mom, roomate and then some.
All in all though, it helped me to rely on no one but myself. Because of that, I'm glad.
Am I boring you? Is my grammer bugging you yet? Gosh, you noticed didn't you? Darn it.
Have a splended evening ya'll!

"Excuse me ma'am, can you take these plates please?"
Holding my stack of, not one, not two, three but four plates and a soup bowl, along with butter knives barely hanging on for dear life. Stacked up to my neck.
"Not yet, one moment."
"Well, I'm finished? Can't you just take one more?"
:) love it.
